Healthy Foods For Better Health

The most healthiest of healthy foods contain most of the following characteristics:
                  • prevents and/or cure illnesses and diseases;
                  • low in sugar;
                  • high in vitamins and minerals;
                  • low in bad fats;
                  • doesn't dramatically spike blood glucose levels;
                  • elevates your mood; 
                  • provides energy; and 
                  • keeps your body lean.
The more of the above characteristics a food has, the more healthier it is and the closer it is to being the perfect food.

Before we get to the top 5 healthiest foods, it would benefit you greatly if we go through each of the following criteria mentioned above so that you can determine on your own whether or not a particular food is healthy for you or not.

We all know people who have died of cancer and it sucks. Why are so many people dying of cancer and other common illnesses? I had to find the answer to this question. After an exhausting amount of research and talking with experts I've come to believe that the most important factor in preventing cancers and other illnesses is our diet. The vast majority of North Americans eat acidic diets rather than an alkaline diet. I believe this is the key to living a long healthy life.
